Intergenerational programming and volunteer fanatic, Lauren orchestrates a variety of programs focused on the interests and needs of older adults in the community. They are passionate about service learning, creating new experiences for volunteers, and getting people excited to work in the field of aging. Lauren loves all things GrowIN, but if they had to choose their favorite part it might be curating partnerships to engage the community and deliver awesome programs!
In their free time, you might find Lauren snuggling with cats, doing yoga with their wife, exploring breweries, skiing, or cooking a new creation.
As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Shannon has worked in a variety of health care settings from acute care to long term care providing education on health conditions, nutrition, and wellness. She is passionate about nutrition and how food can bring people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds together - and is excited to help GrowIN become a place for everyone to learn and grow.
In her free time, you might find Shannon searching for four-leaf clovers, appreciating music and collecting records, cooking with her partner, or out on a hike or camping.
Amy has enjoyed being part of a team that works towards ongoing devleopment and expansion of programming with GrowIN. Participating in a variety of capacities for different program areas over the years has increased her skills and abilities in working with different age groups. She looks forward to continued collaboration with members and volunteers who are also passionate about intergenerational engagement.
Cecilia is passionate about working with older adults. She has experience working in long-term care and adult day centers. She is currently a Master of Health Administration student at Ohio State University with the goal of working in long-term care administration. Her favorite part of GrowIN is working with the Student Board!
In her free time, you can find Cecilia spending time with her dog, Bunny, playing tennis and pickleball, and listening to Taylor Swift!
